Ruth Hackney

Ruth is the firm’s Management Team Leader. She has worked with Steve Rastin’s in his practice for the past 11 years. She has a great deal of experience running small businesses, and is currently responsible for human resource functions, the accounting department and filing reports required by the Law Society of Upper Canada.

Ruth has been a resident of Midland for the past 31 years. Having been a member of Town Council for the past 7 years, she currently holds the position of Deputy-Mayor. As part of that role, she is also a member of the Simcoe County Council. Additionally, for the past 15 years, Ruth has sat on the Board of Directors of the Midland Public Utilities, and for 9 of those years, as Chairperson.
